Dr. Supratik Roychowdhury is the Head of Corrosion Engineering Section, Materials Processing & Corrosion Engineering Division, BARC, Mumbai. He completed M. Tech. (Materials Science in 2005) and Ph.D. (Corrosion Science & Engineering in 2011) from IIT Bombay. He was awarded the Marie Curie research grant (COFUND scheme) for pursuing post-doctoral research in Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Switzerland (2013-2015). In recognition of his work, he has received the AMPP Fellow Award 2023, "Excellence in corrosion science and technology" from NACE International India Section and DAE individual and group awards. He has number of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Raghvendra Tewari has experience of nearly 35 years in the field of physical metallurgy, phase transformation, and electron microscopy. Under his leadership, a rare earth magnetic plant has successfully started producing indigenous rare magnets for strategic purposes. His work on ordered omega phases has been widely referred in the literature, which he extended in solving various problems; particularly in special steels like maraging steel to realize their full strength. He has nearly 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is Visiting Fellow of five universities and national labs in US and Europe. Under his supervision, nearly ten students have successfully completed their Ph.D. He has been bestowed with various national and international awards. Currently, he is President of Electron Microscope Society of India.
Sandeep Rege is presently Head of Quality and Operational Excellence of M/S Neosym Industries Ltd, C.K. Birla Group. He was Domain Expert of Heat treatment for Automotive Sector of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. He is Mechanical Engineer with Post Diploma specialization in Foundry Technology and has overall experience of 39+ years. He was instrumental in bringing and establishing first ever Continuous Vacuum Carburiser in India for mass production in Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. He presented several papers in various events of ASM and IIF and received best paper awards at IIF and Management institutes. He has been Secretary of ASM India Chapter, currently Vice Chairman of ASM India Chapter.
Prof. VS. Raja is Emeritus Fellow in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. He helped over 100 industries to solve their corrosion problems. He has supervised over 33 doctoral and 123 masters' students and published seminal papers. He is Editor of Corrosion Science Journal and Member of editorial boards of several leading corrosion journal. In recognition, he received several national and international awards for teaching and research. He is Fellow of NACE International, USA (2011), Indian Institute of Metals (2014) and The Electrochemical Society of India (2017) and Recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award (2023) by National Corrosion Council of India, Karaikudi.
