Dr. Zaheer Babar is a Professor in Medicines and Healthcare at the Department of Pharmacy and the Director of the Centre of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice Research at the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom. He is globally known for his work in pharmaceutical policy, access to medicines, and issues related to medicines pricing. In 2018, Health Action International (HAI) stated that he is the leading expert in access to medicines, globally.
In the last 22 years, Dr. Babar has worked at Universities in Malaysia, New Zealand, and the UK, and this experience has given him an in-depth understanding of global pharmaceutical public health.
