Dr. Susheel Kalia is Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Chemistry at Army Cadet College Wing of Indian Military Academy Dehradun, India. Dr. Kalia has been recognized among the top 2% scientists in the field of polymer science by Stanford University, USA. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2013 and was selected as Visiting Professor for the year 2020-2021 at the University of Bologna, Italy. Dr. Kalia has published 103 research articles in international journals along with 22 books, 11 book chapters and more than 12500 citations with h-index of 49 in his academic career. He has guided many M.Phil. and Ph.D. students and delivered invited talks at national and international conferences. His research interests include polymeric bio- and nanocomposites, surface modification, conducting polymers, nanofibers, nanoparticles, nanoferrites, hybrid materials, and hydrogels. Dr. Kalia is an experienced book editor, and he has edited several successful books with international publishers. Dr. Kalia is Editor of the Springer Series on Polymer and Composite Materials and Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Plastic Technology, Springer, India. In addition, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the Asian Polymer Association, Indian Cryogenics Council, the Society for Polymer Science, the Indian Society of Analytical Scientists, and the International Association of Advanced Materials.
Dr. Mohammad Jawaid is currently working as Distinguished Professor at Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department, United Arab Emirates University, UAE. Earlier he worked as Senior Fellow (Professor) at Biocomposite Technology Laboratory, Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia, and also worked as Visiting Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2013-2022. He also worked as Distinguished Visiting Professor at Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology(MJIIT)-Universiti Teknologi Malaysia(UTM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 2022-2023. He has more than 24 years of experience in teaching, research, and industries. His area of research interests includes hybrid composites, lignocellulosic reinforced/filled polymer composites, advance materials: graphene/nanoclay/fire retardant, modification and treatment of lignocellulosic fibres and solid wood, biopolymers and biopolymers for packaging applications, nanocomposites and nanocellulose fibres, and polymer blends. So far, he has published 70 books, 90 book chapters, more than 500 peer-reviewed international journal papers, and several published review papers under top 25 hot articles in science Direct during 2013-2020. He also obtained 6 Patents and 6 Copyrights/Industrial design. H-index and citation in Scopus are 90 and 34916 and in Google scholar, H-index and citation are 108 and 47324; H-index =75 (Web of Science). He is founding Series Editor of three Springer Book Series. He worked as guest editor of special issues of Several Peer reviewed Journals. He is also Professional membership of IOM, ACS, SPE, APA, MySET, etc. Besides that, he is also reviewer of several high-impact international peer-reviewed journals of Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Saga, ACS, RSC, Frontiers, etc. 40 Ph.D. and 17 Master's students graduated under his supervision in 2014-2023 in the fields of hybrid composites, green composites, nanocomposites, natural fibre-reinforced composites, nanocellulose, etc. He secured various research grants at university, national, and international levels on polymer composites of around 6 million Malaysian ringgits (USD 1.36 Million). He also delivered plenary and invited talks in international conferences related to composites in India, Turkey, Malaysia,Thailand, the United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and China. Besides that, he is also a member of technical committees of several national and international conferences on composites and material science. Dr. Mohammad Jawaid also received Several Award at National and International Level. He is also Winner of Newton-Ungku Omar Coordination Fund: UK-Malaysia Research and Innovation Bridges Competition 2015. Clarivate declared him 1% Highly cited Researchers 2023 in Cross-field due to his authored multiple Highly Cited Papers(TM) which rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science over the past decade.
Dr. Bhuvanesh Gupta is Professor of Polymers at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and President of Asian Polymer Association along with other international bodies, such as Society of Biomaterials Artificial Organs India (Delhi), Society of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, India and Indo-Italian Forum on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. Dr. Gupta completed his PhD from IIT Delhi and spent a couple of years as post-doctoral researcher in Paris. Subsequently, Dr. Gupta worked in France, Sweden, and Switzerland for eight years under different capacities in several laboratories. Dr. Gupta initiated a research career in polymer functionalization, biomaterials, and tissue engineering and collaborated with the University of Uppsala, Sweden and INSERM Paris, France. His research collaborations are mainly with AIIMS New Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, Panjab University Chandigarh, NEHU Shillong, and Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok. Dr. Gupta had brief assignment as Director (Research) at Sikkim Manipal University Gangtok and before joining IIT Delhi as a professor of polymers and biomaterials. Dr. Gupta is among the top 2% polymer scientists in the world and has been awarded medals and granted several visiting fellowships in different European countries, including Sweden, Switzerland, and France. He has been a member of DBT talk force of Government of India. He is on the editorial board of several journals of repute. Winner of several awards and medals, Dr. Gupta has about 200 publications in international journals and more than 400 conference presentations in India and abroad along with 28 patents to his credit. Dr. Gupta has authored eight books with international publishers and has been invited by several laboratories across Europe for delivering talks. With a strong support from many doctorate students and scientists, Prof. Gupta's group is engaged in different areas of polymeric biomaterials and biomedical engineering.
