Bailee Kate and her dog Thor love to play soccer, but Thor always gets in the way. Coach says the team shouldn't act like Thor because it is puppy guarding. See if they've learned as they take on the fierce Yellow Dragons. This fully illustrated book is intended to help youth soccer players break the bee-swarming kick and pack-chase mentality as children begin to comprehend spacial relationships to one another on the field of play.
iPlaySoccer! Books are instructional stories focused on advancing youth player development. The illustrated children's books teach foundational concepts and vocabulary in a fun way that allows children, parents and coaches to develop together in "the beautiful game." The series is not intended to replace the instruction of a coach or the learning derived from actual play. Rather, the purpose of these books is to assist the player in mastering concepts as the game becomes more complex.
Besides, the focus of iPlaySoccer! is on teaching children how to think independently, while also maintaining a collective understanding of the team during competition. This is an essential skill that helps young players not only in sport, but also in life. Each title is not intended to supplant the instruction of a coach, or the time a child spends learning a sport by playing it. Rather, the authors' purpose is to assist young players with their comprehension of sport in a way that is engaging, inspiring, and empowering.
To that end, no matter the level of play, the coach is the teacher, the player is the student, and this series is merely the provider of fun educational tools designed to reinforce what should be learned on the training ground.

Seth Little obtained his undergraduate degree in Physical Education, dual majoring in Coaching and Spanish. His passion lies in the theory of sport, tactics and strategy. He excelled at gridiron football, achieving all-American status before injuries decimated his career. However, since his own AYSO days, he always loved the beautiful game. In 2007, he began the practice of law, and over the course of his legal career he has had the opportunity to consult with youth and semi-professional soccer clubs on issues relating to business organization, curriculum, best practices, policies and procedures, and general risk management. Lindsay and Seth still play soccer together in various Las Vegas leagues, as they have for more than a decade. As parents of young soccer players, they simply want what's best for their children's development as a whole, including the integral part that athletics play in a child's well-being.
