Seminar paper from the year 2020 in the subject Sociology - Individual, Groups, Society, grade: 1, University of Innsbruck, language: English, abstract: The term Fan tourism relates to the physical movement of audiences to places that connect to scenes in movies, sports, and art. These audiences are able to gain psychological, social, and emotional benefits from this form of tourism. This paper focuses on the drivers of fan tourism, which relate to the attributes of the individual, the society, and the destination of the art or sport. More so, it discusses fan involvement and commitment as variables to fan tourism. It seeks to prove that the fan involvement, commitment, and loyalty have a positive relationship to fan tourism.
