Smithsonian Folkways veröffentlicht erstmals eine Kollektion, auf der drei Hauptstile von Brass Band-Musik zu hören sind: die Liberty Brass Band mit ihrem typisch-klassischen Sound, die Treme Brass Band mit ihren modernen, dennoch im traditionellen verhafteten Klang und zuletzt die Hot 8 Brass Band, die Funk, Soul und Hip Hop-Elemente integriert. Das Album zeugt von der immer noch lebendigen und sich stetig fortentwickelnden Brass Band-Kultur, die im Wandel der Zeit nichts von ihrem Charme eingebüßt hat
