The teacher who escaped

This book follows the true story of a burnt-out teacher who is trying to establish an alternative career as an author and self-publisher of mathematics books. The story follows him from his original roots in South Africa, to his education in England, his career in Australia, and his final years in the Philippines. During his colorful life the author tells of the many trials and tribulations he experienced before his eventual success and retirement. It is a motivational and inspiring book which describes how a very ordinary man can achieve the goals which he sets for himself, despite the many blunders and bad decisions that he makes on the journey. The profits from the books will be distributed to the author's favourite dog sanctuaries.

Auteur

Warwick Marlin born in Northern Rhodesia in 1949. He spent his early years in South Africa and then moved to north of England where he finished his senior school education at a public school gaining 3 A levels in maths, physics and chemistry. He then moved back to south Africa and obtained a B.Sc. at the University of Natal majoring in maths and physics. He worked at several schools and companies in Johannesburg before moving to New Zealand. After spending 3 years in Christchurch he went to Australia and taught there for many years before becoming and author and self- publisher of more than 40 mathematics books. He lived at Port Macquarie for 10 years and has spent the last 13 years in the Philippines.
