Kwan is Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Associate Director of the Divinity School of Chung Chi College, also at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is Adjunct Professor and the Director of the Center for Christian Studies at Shantou University, China.
