Divine Entrapment and the Substitutionary Atonement

In the beginning, there were Adam and Eve, and the serpent who deceived

them into disobeying God and falling from grace. 6,000 years later, we see

their counterparts: the Spirit and the Bride (the Last Adam and Eve), and the

dragon who leads the whole world astray. And the deep-seated animosity

and the consequent confrontation between the two camps are

the warp and woof of the Bible.

As, in the beginning, the first man Adam testified to his wife Eve who would

become the mother of all the living, calling her, "bone of my bones and flesh

of my flesh," so, at the end of 6,000 years of creation, the Last Adam,

the life-giving Spirit, revealed His Bride, the Last Eve - God the Mother -

who came to give eternal life to Her children of promise at the end of

the ages.
