Decades after Francis Fukuyama's 'end of history' thesis became famous, the conflicts and turmoil of history have returned; Dr. Kicmari, having seen his own native land erupt in a European civil war in the 1990s, has been thinking about these issues for many years. This becomes even more relevant in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
