The Palomino Pony on Parade

Time seemed to stand still. Georgia felt the blood rush to her ears and her heart felt as though it might burst out of her chest. The stands erupted, everyone cheering, the little palomino was a popular winner and it was all Georgia could do to stay on board as she hugged Lily tightly, tears pouring down her cheeks.

Auteur

Olivia Tuffin lives on an arable farm in Dorset with her farmer husband Clive, daughter Lara, three ponies, two dogs and a pet sheep called Florence. She never outgrew the pony-mad stage and her favourite thing to do is to ride off for hours into the countryside. She's always loved writing and wanted to write the kind of pony story she adored as a child. Her own ponies and their funny antics provide inspiration for her stories every day.

Georgia is fantastically excited to be competing at Olympia! It's like a dream come true, and she's really looking forward to it. Especially the Parade at the end, where she can show off her gorgeous little palomino, Lily, to the world!
