Pankaj V. Dangre, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research at North Maharashtra University, Nagpur, India. He is an academician dedicated to teaching, a passionate researcher, and an administrator. He taught modern pharmaceutics and novel drug delivery systems (NDDS) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has mentored students in various research projects at both levels. His area of interest includes drug delivery, formulation development, and nutraceutical innovations. He has published a number of research papers on bioavailability enhancement and controlled-release formulations along with book chapters and laboratory manuals on basic pharmaceutical formulations and physical pharmaceutics. He is an active reviewer for several international journals and a member of a number of professional bodies. Debarshi Kar Mahapatra, PhD, is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy at RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, India. He has taught medicinal chemistry and computational chemistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has mentored a number of students in various research projects. His area of interest includes computer-assisted rational designing, synthesis of low molecular weight ligands against druggable targets, development of drug delivery systems, and optimization of unconventional formulations. He has published several research papers, review articles, and imperative case studies in various reputed international journals and has presented his original contributions at several international platforms, for which he received several awards by a number of scientific and professional bodies. He has contributed several edited books, syllabus-based textbooks, lab manuals, book chapters, magazine articles, and guidebooks on pharmaceutical chemistry, natural products, pharmacology, and pharmaceutics. Presently, he is as an active reviewer and serves as an editorial board member for several journals of national and international repute. He is an active member of a number of professional and international scientific societies. He held the positions of Chief Advisor and Chief Executive Manager in the Indian Pharma Educational Society (IPES) and presently holds the position of Chief Advisor in the Health Society of Global Pharmacovigilance Professionals.
