Auteur
Dr. Bairagi is a postdoctoral fellow under a project funded by EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) at the University of Glasgow, the UK. He completed his Ph.D. in textile-based flexible piezoelectric materials from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. His area of research interest includes development of nanotechnology-based piezoelectric and triboelectric materials for nanogenerators as well as textile-based flexible advanced materials for renewable energy harvesting. He has published numerous research articles in various reputed peer-reviewed journals. In addition, Dr. Bairagi has published and written more than 30 book chapters which have been published and submitted in different books under various publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, and so forth.
Dr. Shakeel Ahmed is currently working as an assistant professor of Chemistry in the Higher Education Department, for the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He is also an assistant professor, in the Department of Chemistry, at the Government Degree College Mendhar, Jammu and Kashmir. He obtained his first degree in general science from the Government Postgraduate College Rajouri (University of Jammu) followed by his master's and doctoral degree in chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, a central university, situated in New Delhi. He gained his postdoctoral experience in biocomposite materials from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has published several research papers in the field of green nanomaterials and biopolymers for various applications including biomedical, packaging, and water treatment. He has published more than 20 books on either nanomaterials or green composites with publishers of high international repute.
Dr. Wazed Ali is an associate professor in the Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. After obtaining his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, he joined General Electric (GE) India Technology Centre Pvt., Ltd. (JFWTC), Bangalore, as a research scientist. Subsequently he moved to SABIC Research and Technology Pvt., Ltd., Bangalore, and worked as a scientist before joining IIT Delhi in 2014. During his R and D service at GE India Technology, he was awarded with 'Bronze Medal' for above and beyond performance. He was the recipient of two International Fellowships during his Ph.D. studies. He was awarded with 'Gold Medal' for his highest score in M.Tech. in Fibre Science and Technology from IIT Delhi in 2006. He has been awarded prestigious 'Commonwealth Split-Site Doctoral Fellowship' 2008 from the Commonwealth Fellowship Commission, London, to pursue 1-year research work at UK during his Ph.D. studies. He was a recipient of 'Bolton Fellowship' from the University of Bolton, UK, for 3-year Ph.D. program at IIT Delhi. His research areas broadly include nanofibrous web for energy, nanocomposite-based flexible piezoelectric materials, green chemistry in textiles, etc. He was also awarded with Young Scientist start-up Research Grant from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India. He has published 50 papers in different international peer-reviewed journals and presented research outcome in 39 different conferences. He has contributed and authored about 65 book chapters. He has applied 8 patents (6 Indian, 1 European as well as 1 US patent). He is a life member of the Indian Natural Fibre Society and a regular reviewer of different peer-review international journals. He is a member of Editorial Board of American Journal of Polymer Science and Technology and an associate editorial board member of Current Applied Polymer Science.
