Mengyao Lin, with a PhD in economics, is currently working at the Research Institute of the People's Bank of China. She has won the first prize in the key project of the People's Bank of China (2020) and has been responsible for reviewing and editing the authoritative academic journal in the field of Chinese economics and finance for more than ten years. Dr. Lin has a solid professional foundation and has made important contributions to the maintenance of Financial Research as an authoritative journal in China for many years. She has long paid close attention to macro economy, quantitative economy, Fintech, green finance, and other fields, and has published many academic papers in top Chinese journals. She is also the main author of many articles of the annual key projects of the national high-end think tank of the National Social Science Work Office. Her work has been recognized, affirmed, and awarded by the decision-making departments in China, made contribution in serving the policy-makers in China.
Mr. Chen Wei graduated from UIBE with a master's degree in law. He now works at Fangda Partners and once served in the PBOC Head Office. His research interests lie primarily in asset management and FinTech. He has published articles in Chinese national academic journals. Mr. Chen is also the author/translator of FinTech and SupTech in China published by Springer, RMB Internationalization and Product Innovation published by Collins, and Good Practice for Financial Consumer Protection published by China Financial Publishing House. He has presided over a youth academic project of the PBOC Shanghai in 2019 and an academic project of the Shanghai Society of Finance in 2020. With rich experience in asset management, he has provided legal services on data governance and protection for internationally renowned hedge funds, joint venture fund companies, banking financial institutions, FinTech companies, and wealth management companies.
Zhang Wenting is a Senior Research Fellow at the Research Institute of the People's Bank of China. She has a Ph.D. in Accounting and Finance from Durham University (UK) with the Best Doctoral Thesis Award. Dr. Zhang mainly researches international finance, inclusive finance, fintech, climate finance, and related policy suggestions. Dr. Zhang has compiled and translated many books, such as "Bank Credit Operation Management," "China Community Bank Management," "Artificial Financial Intelligence in China," and translated Paul Volcker's autobiography "Keeping at It," "Why Not Default," and other works. Dr. Zhang participated in many domestic and international conferences and published dozens of academic papers or articles in top domestic and international journals, such as the International Review of Financial Analysis and China Finance.
