Dr. Amarjit Roy
received the M. Tech degree from NIT Silchar in 2014, Ph.D. degree from NIT Silchar in Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year of 2018. After that, he joined as an Assistant Professor in BML Munjal University in 2017. In July 2020, he joined as an Assistant Professor Sr. Grade 1 in VIT AP University. Now, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology, Malda. His research interests include image noise removal, soft computing, biomedical image processing, etc. He has published many papers in journals such as IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, etc.
Chiranjit Sain (IEEE, Senior Member)
is working as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology (GKCIET), Malda. He has about 12 years of academic experience, 8 years of research experience and 1 year of industrial experience. His present research of interest includes senorless and vector control of permanent magnet motor drives, digital control in power electronics converters, electric vehicles, renewable energy systems. Additionally, he is guiding four (04) PhD scholars in joint collaboration with NIT Mizoram. He has published several papers in national/international level journals/conferences/book chapters and two books in the relevant field.
Dr. Raja Ram Kumar
received the B. Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the WBUT, Kolkata, India in 2010 and M. Tech. as well as Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Machines & Drives from the IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India in 2012 and 2018, respectively. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology, Malda, West Bengal. He has published several research papers in international/national journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include Renewable Energy, Electrical Machines, Electric Drives, Power Electronic Converter Design and Control.
Dr. Sandip Chanda
is a B.E from Jadavpur University in Electrical Engineering. He completed his M.Tech Degree in Electrical Engineering from applied Physics Department of Science college and he was awarded Ph.D. (Engineering) form IIEST, Shibpur (Formerly Shibpur B.E. College) in 2015. Dr. Chanda has 17 years of teaching experience including 13 years of research experience in the field of Electrical Power System. He has worked 2.5 years as Principal and 8 years as head of Electrical Engineering Department of reputed engi neering colleges. He has published 46 journals and conference papers in Elsevier, Springer, IEEE and in other reputed publications. He has also published 2 books on Smart Grid Research and 4 book chapters available in IET digital library and other reputed publications. Currently he is working as Dean of Faculty Welfare and Head of Electrical Engineering in Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology, Malda, a CFTI under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. His research area includes - Power system Optimization, Smart Gird, Renewable Energy Sources and Micro Grid.
Valentina E. Balas
is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, "Aurel Vlaicu" University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 270 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. Dr. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations, Programs and Projects in the same university.
Prof. Saad Mekhilef
is an IEEE and IET Fellow. He is a Distinguished Professor at the School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, and an Honorary Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya. He authored and co-authored more than 500 publications in academic journals and proceedings and five books with more than 40,000 citations, and more than 70 Ph.D. students who graduated under his supervision. He serves as an editorial board member for many top journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Open Journal of Industrial Electronics, IET Renewable Power Generation, etc.
