Eternity's Shadow

I pushed Brooke's body off the bridge in the dark of night. Ten years later, I would meet her for the first time. It was the night our world ended in a cloud of darkness. Brooke saved my life by taking me to the Nexus.

It was a place beyond anything I thought possible, with passages to other realities.

"Come with me through this doorway," She said. "And I will show you all the Earths, in all the universes, in all Creation. I promise you'll go places you've never dreamed of, and see things you could never imagine."

Brooke led me to the door.

"But," She warned. "There are things in play, very dangerous things, that want to destroy all of existence, like they destroyed your world. And they must be stopped."
