Dr Anna Saiti, is a Professor of Management and Economics of Education, and Associate Department head of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Care, School of Administrative, Economics & Social Sciences, University of West Attica, Athens, Greece. She is the Director of the Lab Leadership & Innovation of the School of Administrative, Economics & Social sciences at the University of West Attica. She is a member in the Executive Board of International Council of Professors in Educational Leadership (ICPEL), Board Member of the Educational Leaders Without Borders (ELWB) Board and Publication Director Aramid Consortium. She is Associate Editor of the journal Leadership & Policy in Schools (Taylor & Francis) and member of the Editorial Board of the journal Research in Educational Administration and Leadership. Her research interests focus on the Educational Leadership, management and economics of education and health as well as the labor market. She is the author of six books (in Greek), four books in English published by Springer and Routledge publication, one book in English published by Lulu publishing (ICPEL). She has written several articles regarding management and economics of education and health care published by international scientific journals. She has participated in several international conferences and she was involved in an applied international research project associated with School leadership and equity. She was involved as the scientific head in a project on health economics and she was an Associate Scientific Head in a scientific project associated with labor market and professional well-beings of employees (organizational behavior), as well as in the project of the University of West Attica regarding the training of school educators in distance learning education, co-financed by the Greek State and the European Union. She has been a reviewer for several international scientific journals and she has also been a reviewer for book proposals (Routledge, Palgrave McMillan, etc.). Moreover, her papers and books have been cited by many Greek and foreign researchers.
Michael Chletsos holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Picardie - France. He is Professor of Economic Analysis at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus in Greece and Director of the Master/s Program "Economics of Education and Management of EducationalUnits". He taught at the University of Crete, University of Thessaly and University of Ioannina. He teaches more than 25 years at the Greek Open University. He was also the Director of the Laboratory of Applied Economic and Social Policy at the University of Ioannina. He served as Director of the Directorate of Research at the Employment Observatory Research and Informatics SA, Senior Researcher at the National Labour Institute and Researcher at the Centre of Planning and Economic Research. His research interests are focused on economics of education labour economics, public economics, economics of social protection, health economics and economics of Poverty and income inequalities. His current research is on the relation between education and inequalities, immigration and education, education and economic development and intergenerational mobility.
