Theo Inglis is a freelance graphic designer, design writer and has taught as a lecturer in Graphic Design at the University of Suffolk. His debut book on design history, Mid- Century Modern Graphic Design , was published by Batsford in May 2019. He was a contributor to Type Directory, published by Thames & Hudson in 2019 and worked as a freelance reporter for Grafik magazine and Monotype, the world''s leading font company, from 2016-17. He has written for AIGA''s Eye on Design , It''s Nice That , Communication Arts magazine, Creative Review, the Financial Times , Computer Arts and the Recorder . Freelance clients have included Pentagram, Penguin Random House, The Poetry School, openDemocracy and a wide variety of independent literary and radical publishers. Theo holds a BA in Graphic Design from Norwich University of the Arts and an MA in Critical Writing in Art& Design from the Royal College of Art.
