Dr. Hamed Gholami is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Étienne and a Researcher at the Henri Fayol Institute, France. He received the M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering under the UTM International Doctoral Fellowship scholarship, in 2017. He was honored with the Best Ph.D. Student Award as well as the Alumni and Chancellor Awards at the UTM 59th Convocation Ceremony on Oct. 2017. Since January 2018, he had been a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, UTM. Dr. Gholami has also been acknowledged by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) as a Professional Technologist in the field of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology. Given his knowledge and expertise in the field, he has served as a consultant and collaborator on granted projects, a member of editorial boards, a chief guest editor for special issues, and a reviewer in authoritative journals.
Dr. Georges Abdul-Nour is a professor at the Department of Industrial engineering, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Canada. He received his Bachelors and Master Degrees in IE from the Université de Moncton, N.B. Canada. He completed his PhD at Texas Tech University; Lubbock Texas, U.S.A. Dr. Abdul-Nour authored and co-authored 10 books and books chapters, and more than 450-refereed papers in international journals and conferences proceeding, and technical reports. His research interest is in fields such as Intelligent Asset Management, Complexes Systems Resilience, Reliability and Maintenance, Intelligent Manufacturing, I4.0, Lean-Six Sigma, and JIT. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR), and on the Board of the International Society of Engineering Asset Management (ISEAM). Professor Abdul-Nour is a registered member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ). He served as Chair of Engineering School and of Research Institute on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), (INRPME) at UQTR. He is an Elected Member of the Academy of Industrial Engineering of Texas Tech. Dr. Abdul-Nour hold the HQ/NSERG Research Chair in Asset-Management and He is a Fellow of ISEAM.
Dr. Safian Sharif is a Professor at the Department of Materials, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He received his PhD from Coventry, United Kingdom in 2000. His main area of specialization is in machining of advanced materials such as titanium alloys, inconel, stainless steel and other exotic materials which include hardened steels, cobalt chromium molybdenum and composites. He is actively engaged in other research areas such as sustainable manufacturing, additive manufacturing, rapid tooling and injection moulding.
Dr. Dalia Streimikiene, PhD in Economics; Professor of Vilnius University and Leading Researcher at Lithuanian Energy Institute. She is working in the area of sustainable development since 1998 and is an internationally recognized expert in this field. She works on behalf of UNFCCC, European Commission, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the United Nations Development Programme, World Energy Council, the IAEA etc. on sustainable energy, environmental and climate change mitigation policies. Dr. Streimikiene consults Lithuanian Ministry of Environment on Climate Change and participates in preparation of national reports to the UNFCCC Secretariat and the national greenhouse gas inventories. She is a member of State Commission for allocation of National Scientific Grants of Republic of Lithuania which is the most prestigious award by Lithuanian State for scientists. She represents expertise in Economics in this Commission. She has published over 200 articles in Web of Science (WoS) referred journals with high IF. She is a co-author of 15 monographs and presented many papers at many international conferences and forums around the world. She is Editor-in-Chief of Transformations in Business and Management journal indexed in WoS and SCOPUS databases. Her H index is 30 at Scopus.
