Sir Walter Moberly was a British academic. He was Chairman of the University Grants Committee from 1935 to 1949 and the first Principal of St Catherine's Foundation from 1949 to 1955.

First published in 1952, Reflections on Life and Religion is a collection of selected entries made by Sir James Baillie from 1893 to his death. The book is divided into three main sections dealing with religion; ethical and social philosophy; and metaphysics and theory of knowledge.
