Prof. Seong-Gon Kim (OMFS), a graduate of Seoul National University, is a distinguished professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Gangneung-Wonju National University. With over 170 peer-reviewed international publications and numerous presentations at international meetings, his contributions to the field are widely recognized. Since 2014, Dr. Kim has served as the editor-in-chief of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, published by Springer. He has received numerous awards from prestigious organizations such as Cleft2000, the Korean Association of Dental Research, the Korean Association of Maxillofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Korean Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Kim's expertise and achievements showcase his exceptional dedication to advancing oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Prof. Ji-Hyeon Oh is a highly educated professional in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She holds a D.D.S. degree from Yonsei University's College of Dentistry, along with a Ph.D. from the university's Graduate School. Prof. Oh has gained valuable experience through various positions, starting as a Resident at the Wonju Severance Christian Hospital from 2013 to 2016. She then served as a Fellow at the Dental Hospital of Gangneung-Wonju National University from 2017 to 2019. Following that, she held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor before assuming her current role as Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prof. Oh's impressive academic background and extensive professional experiences make her a valuable asset in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Prof. Dae-Seok Hwang has an extensive institutional history at Pusan National University, spanning from 2007 to 2023. During this time, he held positions at Pusan National University Dental Hospital (2018-2022), Pusan National University Hospital (2011-2019), and contributed to the development of Pusan National Yangsan Hospital (2019).
