THE CHRONICLES OF DOOM is a sweeping and definitive biography of Daniel Dumile AKA MF DOOM. His 2004 collaboration with L.A. producer Madlib, entitled Madvillany, is widely considered to be one of the greatest ever rap albums, and his 2005 album The Mouse and the Mask sold a staggering 350,000 copies, further solidifying his underground status while vaulting him onto the Billboard charts. DOOM might not have reached the top of the charts but he did evolve into an icon, carving his own unparalleled space within hip-hop. Though his creative output may have been been cut short, he remains revered to this day, considered a hero (or rather supervillain) still shrouded in much mystery.
