Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh is currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of CS at KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad, India. He has completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Gautam Buddha University (State Government University), Greater Noida, UP, India. He received his M.Tech. (CSE) with Distinction from GGSIPU, New Delhi, India. He has published nearly 130 research papers in various international journals and conferences of repute. Some of his publications are in, e.g., IEEE Access, Applied Intelligence, Multimedia Tools and Applications, and Computer Communications. He has received three sponsored research projects grant from Govt. of India and Govt. of HP worth Rs 25 Lakhs. He has edited a total 14 books from Springer and Elsevier. He has edited several special issues for SCI and SCIE Journals from Springer, Elsevier, and IGI Global Journals. He has Google Scholar citations 1400, H-index 21 and i-10 Index 40. Hisrecently published book titled Handbook of Wireless Sensor Networks: Issues and Challenges in Current Scenario's from Springer has reached to 11000 downloads in last few months. Recently, Dr. Singh has been nominated as Section Editor for Discover IoT, a Springer Journal.
Dr. Yashwant Singh is Head & Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & IT at the Central University of Jammu. He has done Ph.D. in Computer Science from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, M.Tech. from Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh, and B.Tech. from SLIET Longowal. His research interests lie in the area of IoT, WSN, ICS/SCADA Security, and Vulnerability Assessment.
Yashwant has served on Thirty International Conference and Workshop Program Committees and served as the General Chair for PDGC-2014, ICRIC-2018, ICRIC-2019, ICRIC-2020, and ICRIC-2021. He currently serves as coordinator of DRDO sponsored Kalam Centre for Science and Technology (KCST), ComputationalSystem Security vertical at Central University of Jammu.
Yashwant has published more than 85 Research Papers in Journals, Conferences, and Book Chapters of repute that are indexed in SCI and SCOPUS. He has Research Projects worth Rs.46.322 Lakhs in his credit from DRDO and Rs. 12.19 Lakhs from NCW. He has guided 4 Ph.D., 25 M.Tech. students and guiding 4 PhDs and 5 M.Tech. students.
Dr. Yashwant Has visited 8 countries for his academic visits e.g. U.K., Germany, Poland, Chez Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Romania. He was Visiting Professor at Jan Wyzykowski University, Polkowice, Poland.
Dr. Maheshkumar H. Kolekar is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, India. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2007. During 2008 to 2009, he was Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Computer Science, University of Missouri, Columbia, USA. During May to July 2017, he worked as DAAD Fellow in Technical University Berlin where he worked in the research area EEG signal analysis using machine learning. His research interests are in the area of digital signal, image and video processing, video surveillance, biomedical signal processing, and deep learning. Recently, he has authored a book titled as "Intelligent Video Surveillance Systems: An Algorithmic Approach," CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group, 2018. He has successfully completed R&D Project sponsored by Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt. of India on abnormal human activity recognition.
Prof.(Dr.) Arpan Kumar Kar is Associate Professor of the Information Systems area in DMS, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. He has extensive experience in teaching, training, consultancy, and research. He has published over 120 high impact articles and 6 books and has over a thousand citations forhis research. He is Member in multiple advisory committees of Central Government Ministries and Universities. Before joining IIT Delhi, he has earlier taught in IIM Rohtak as Assistant Professor(v). Prior to joining academics, he has worked in IBM Research Lab and Cognizant Business Consulting. He has provided research-driven advisory services to leading MNCs and Government Departments / Ministries in India and globally through funded projects and consultancies of around 5 crores INR. He has received multiple awards and recognitions from reputed organizations like Elsevier, IFIP, I3E, IIT Delhi, IIM Rohtak, PMI, AIMS, TCS, Jadavpur University, etc.
Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves is Associate Professor of Electrotechnical and Industrial Engineering with the School of Technology in the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. He is also Senior Researcher at IDMEC, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Dr. Gonçalves was trained in Mechanical Engineering, achieving the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, 1998 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves (P.J.S. Gonçalves) presented more than 100 paper in renowned journal and conferences in robotics, vision and computational intelligence. He served as Chair of the IEEE-CIS (computational Intelligence) Portuguese chapter and was Officer of the IEEE RAS working group who developed the first RAS standard and one of the first ontology-based IEEE standards. He received several scientific awards both national and international. He organized and chaired several international conferences and edited its proceedings. The organized several workshops are in top-tier robotic IEEE conferences, e.g., ICRA, IROS and ROMAN. He server as Regular Reviewer in top-level journals. He was invited as Visiting Professor in European Universities, in the field of robotics. Currently, he is Co-Chair of the IEEE P1872.2 - Standard for AutonomousRobotics (AuR) Ontology and actively works in three other IEEE standards working groups within robotics and automation. He received funding for his research projects, in Principal Investigator and/or Researcher, from the EU, IEEE, private companies, and the Portuguese National Research Funding Agency. He works as Regular Expert for the European Commission and for the National Accreditation of University Study Programs. Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves research keywords include computational intelligence, ontologies, robotics, computer vision, and industrial automation.
