Raluca moved from Romania to the United States in 1991, after the fall of the socialist regime. Even though she grew up with a love for literature, she followed a STEM path and currently works in the telecom industry.

Once upon a time, a young girl lived in a country where stories were everywhere and made people happy. One day, a cruel king and his army of seven-headed dragons came to that land. He forbade and caged the stories. Just three escaped, hidden in the girl's box. Every day, she saw her people unhappy. She had to do something. The seven-headed dragons were watching, their breath closer and closer. The girl bravely shared her stories, igniting the courage within her people to seek freedom and happiness. My Gift is a testament to the enduring connection between stories and hope.
