Devrim Balkose, PhD, is retired from the Chemical Engineering Department at the Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey, where she was a professor and head of the department. Her research interests are in polymer reaction engineering, polymer foams and films, adsorbent development, and moisture sorption. Her research projects are on nanosized zinc borate production, ZnO polymer composites, zinc borate lubricants, antistatic additives, and metal soaps.
Ana C. F. Ribeiro, PhD, is a researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Her research interests are transport properties of ionic and non-ionic components in aqueous solutions. She has been a referee for various journals and an expert evaluator of research programs funded by the Romanian government through the National Council for Scientific Research. She has received grants, consulted for major corporations, and is a frequent speaker.
Nandakumar Kalarikkal, PhD, is Senior Professor at the School of Pure and Applied Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University and Director of the International and Inter University Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. His research interests include synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanostructured materials, laser plasma, and phase transitions. He has published many research articles, holds six patents, and has edited over 30 books.
Ann Rose Abraham, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara, Kochi, Kerala, India. She has expertise in the field of condensed matter physics, nanomagnetism, multiferroics and polymeric nanocomposites, etc. She has research experience at various reputed national institutes, including Bose Institute, SAHA Institute of Nuclear Physics, and UGC-DAE CSR Centre, and she has collaborated with international laboratories. Dr. Abraham is a frequent speaker and has published journal papers, book chapters, and edited books.
A. K. Haghi, PhD, is a retired professor and has written and edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals. He is currently a research associate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Professor Haghi has received several grants, consulted for several major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. He is Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal.
