George Geroulakos is Professor and Chair of Vascular Surgery at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Head of the University Department of Surgery at the Attikon Hospital in Athens and Visiting Professor at the Imperial College in London since 2015. Previously he was Reader in Vascular Surgery at the Imperial College and President of Angiology at the Royal Society of Medicine in London. He has edited 3 books and authored more than 230 papers on vascular surgery. He has served in the Council of the European Society of Vascular Surgery and the board of examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Efthymios Avgerinos is Professor of Surgery and has been a faculty of the University of Pittsburgh since 2011. He is certified by the European Board of Vascular Surgery (FEBVS) Dr. Avgerinos has authored or co-authored more than 200 peer reviewed publications and chapters on vascular surgery and his work has been widely cited and recognized with international awards. Hehas served on the Executive Councils of the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), European Union of Medical Specialties (UEMS), and International Society for Vascular Surgery (ISVS). He is currently serving in the Education, Clinical Research, and Guideline Committees of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the Eastern Vascular Society (EVS). He has been recently appointed Visiting Professor of Vascular Surgery of the University of Athens, Greece.

Alberto Froio is Professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Dr. Froio is Director of the Master of Science (MSc) in Endovascular Techniques (MET), University of Milano-Bicocca, since 2012 and Director of the one-year post-graduate course "Carotidultrasound", University of Milano-Bicocca. He is Director of the Vascular Surgery Residency Program at University of Milano-Bicocca, San Gerardo Hospital, Monza. He is Visiting Professor of Vascular Surgery at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Dr Froio contributed to membership of Editorial Boards and reviewer activity for several Journals.
Gregory Makris is a consultant in endovascular and interventional radiology at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust, London UK. He completed his specialty training in Clinical Imaging as an NIHR Academic Clinical fellow in Cambridge University hospitals and his subspecialty training in vascular and interventional radiology at Oxford University Hospitals. Before his clinical specialty training he was awarded a PhD in Vascular surgery from Imperial college of London for his work on vascular imaging and carotid disease. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiology and active member of the nationaland interventional radiology community having held positions as chairman of the trainee committees in the British Society of Interventional Radiology as well as in the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE. He is the main author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, member of the CVIR endovascular journal editorial board as and peer reviewer for a number of international journals.
