MARIA HUBERT was an acknowledged expert in the history and traditions of Christmas. Her books for the History Press included A Wartime Christmas, Jane Austen's Christmas and The Brontes' Christmas. Her husband, Andrew, continues her work and now runs Christmas Archives (http: //www.christmasarchives.com/index.html) - a website dedicated to Christmas traditions and ephemera through the ages. He now lives in London.
