LINDA FITZ-ALAN is Registrar and Chief Executive of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts, where she has made ADGM an international trailblazer for innovative judicial services, and for pioneering game-changing technology in dispute resolution. She leads the administration and operations of ADGM Courts, including both the management of cases and the design and delivery of the Court's digital services and unique eCourts Platform. Linda also leads ADGM's extensive dispute resolution services, including the court-annexed mediation scheme, and overseeing the state-of-the-art ADGM Arbitration Centre.

Linda previously served as CEO and Principal Registrar of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, where she was responsible for the successful enhancement of the Court's digital capability, and the design, refurbishment and consolidation of the Court's civil and criminal registries, as well as the development of its human resources and training. Linda has also been a Partner of two Australian law firms and held a senior legal position with a large commercial insurer, located in New York, USA. She is a CEDR-accredited mediator. She resides in Abu Dhabi.

A CEO's journey across the world and back again as she listens to an inner voice challenging her to follow her calling.

We each have an internal compass that points us toward our own personal True North. Unfortunately, too many of us will lose our way, burying our dreams in the day-to-day stresses and mundanity of our careers and family life. We convince ourselves that Polaris is too far away, that the path is too difficult. However, our internal compass will always whisper to us. We feel that call tugging at our consciousness. If we listen carefully to that whisper, we will realize it is an opportunity.

We feel a constructive restlessness.

It is the kind of restless heart that seeks not adventure for adventure's sake, but adventure for growth's sake, for exploration of self, for the experiences of a lifetime to shape the world you want to live in and the life you want to lead.

Linda Fitz-Alan's career has taken her from Australia to the United States where she worked in a specialist legal team at one of the biggest insurance companies in the world, back to her homeland to become CEO and Principal Registrar of the Supreme Court of New South Walesbut her biggest adventure yet was waiting.

She was offered a position as CEO of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts. It was an opportunity to explore a culture so far from her own, so far from anything she had ever knownin a trailblazing role. Linda thrived yet again and established the administration and operations of the Court, essential for enabling the international financial center of the capital of the United Arab Emirates to take its place among the world's leading jurisdictions for business.

Blazing her own path, Linda Fitz-Alan discovered her personal true northand found a challenge and the fulfillment of a lifetime.
