Watercolor has had a huge impact on my life and mental health. Some may choose meditation or yoga, but for me, the uncomplicated and freeing nature of abstract watercolor is a form of mindfulness. It allows me to switch off, unplug from the digital world, and unwind from the day-to-day pressures we all face. In this book, you’ll discover the best painting materials that I’ve found through much research, and even more trial and error. With a modest set of paints, a jam jar of water, a few brushes, and some paper, you will be all set to embark on your watercolor journey.
