In 2006, Juan Carlos came back to the United States and joined Citigroup, where he held positions in wealth management and private banking for affluent families. In 2008, Juan Carlos left Citi to start a quantitative hedge fund, QL Capital Management. While there, Juan Carlos helped design, develop, and trade unique short-term trading strategies that invested in over eighty markets.
