Dr. Dipak Ashok Jadhav did Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur on scaling-up of microbial fuel cells for sanitation applications. He received M.Tech in Water Management from IIT Kharagpur and B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, MPKV Rahuri, India. Earlier, he served as a Research Professor at Korea Maritime and Ocean University, Busan, Republic of Korea. Currently, he is working in School of Civil and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, JSPM University Pune, Maharashtra, India. During his Master thesis research, he received DAAD fellowship in 2011-2012 to work in TU Braunschweig Germany. He has received several prestigious awards and fellowship including Young Technological Innovation Award (GYTI), Young Engineers Award, Promising Engineers Award, Swachthon Award from Ministry, DAAD fellowship, NRF-BP fellowship, Silver medal for postgraduate studies at IIT Kharagpur, etc. His research area is Agricultural Engineering, Water and wastewater treatment & management, Precision agriculture, Bioelectrochemical system, Sanitation, Bioenergy research, Waste to Energy recovery, etc. Recently, he also featured in the Top 2% scientist in the world as per data compiled by Stanford University, USA and Elsevier. To his credits, there are over 85 papers in various peer-reviewed SCI journals of high impact factors and also authored 25 book chapters; 6 books. He has presented the research work at national and international conferences in the area of bioelectrochemical system and bioenergy.
Dr. Shivakumar Khaple did Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in Water Resource Engineering and reservoir sedimentation. He received M.Tech from PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor, JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Narhe, Pune, India. His major area of research includes Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Turbulence and Fluvial Hydraulics, reservoir sedimentation, water management. He has published many papers in International journals as well as presented the work at national and international conferences in the area of water resource engineering. He is a reviewer of many national and international journals. He has been awarded as Senior Research Fellow by DRDO, Govt. of India at IIT Kharagpur.
Dr. Pawan Wable did a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in the Agricultural and Food Engineering Department with specialization in Land and Water Resources Engineering. He received an M.Tech in Water Resources Development and Management from IIT Kharagpur and a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, from MPKV Rahuri, India. Currently, he is serving as Scientist-C (Forest Hydrology) at Kerala Forest Research Institute, Kerala, India. Earlier he worked as a visiting scientist in ICRISAT, Telangana, India. His major area of research includes integrated water resource management, statistical hydrology, and hydrological modelling. He has published more than 10 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals as well as presented his research work at national and international conferences in the area of water resources planning and management.
Mrs. Ashvini D. Chendake did M.Tech in Renewable Energy Sources from Junagadh Agricultural University, Gujrat, India. She received B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering from BSKKV Dapoli, India in 2010. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and research for Agricultural Engineering. Earlier, she served as an Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad, India.
