The twelfth volume in the Interdisciplinary Cancer Research series, titled Head and Neck Cancers: An Interdisciplinary Approach, offers comprehensive reviews on the diagnostic and treatment of head and neck cancers. It begins with an overview of interdisciplinary methods in this field. The book also delves into the role of the microbiome and the evolving understanding of virus-immune system interactions in head and neck cancer. Other chapters focus on circulating tumor cells, extracellular vesicles, and circulating non-coding RNAs. Additionally, it discusses novel therapeutic targets, including lipid levels, oxidative stress, antihypoxic agents, and senotherapy. This volume is part of the Cancer Immunology Project (CIP), part of the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN), and it is particularly valuable for researchers, head and neck oncosurgeons, and oncologists looking to expand their knowledge in this area.
