Auteur
Gleider Hernández is Professor of Public International Law, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Previously, he was Associate Professor (Reader) in Public International Law at Durham University, where he was founding Deputy Director of the Global Policy Institute, and Associate Legal Officer at the International Court of Justice. He is General Editor of Oxford Reports on International Courts of General Jurisdiction (Oxford Scholarship Online), and the author of The International Court of Justice and the Judicial Function (Oxford University Press), which was shortlisted for the 2014 Peter Birks Prize. Since 2021, he is Secretary-General of the European Society of International Law.
