This volume presents selected results from the initiative "Research on the Internationalization of Vocational Education and Training", funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The articles show how the projects of the funding program contribute to strengthening and expanding institutionalized vocational education and training research as well as international vocational education and training cooperation. The altogether 35 authors outline and discuss research findings as well as innovative models and ideas for development perspectives.

Michael Gessler is professor at the University of Bremen and holder of the Chair of Technical and Vocational Education and Training.Dr. Anja Greppmair was a research associate in the meta-project on research for the internationalization of vocational education and training (MP-INVET) at the University of Bremen.Dr. Olga Zlatkin-Troitschanskaia is professor at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and holder of the Chair of Economics and Business Education.Dr. Carla Olivier and Dr. Miriam Toepper were research associates in the meta-project MP-INVET at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.Dr. Sandra Bohlinger is professor at the TU Dresden and holder of the Chair of Adult Education / Continuing Vocational Education and Training and Comparative Education.Anne Bieß, Dr. Hoang Long and Dr. Ianina Scheuch were research associates in the meta-project MP-INVET at the TU Dresden.
