Busyness has become a status symbol and colloquially used to intimate success. The ''more is more'' philosophy still prevails, running us into the dirt and out of natural energy. We, women, need to be smarter than the hyper-accelerated world around us. That''s where SMARTER steps in. We aren''t looking in the mirror and telling ourselves we are a boss each morning. We aren''t crossing our fingers, throwing a penny over our shoulders and hoping for success. It''s graft. We are not striving to do less. Rather, we want to do it all. To get there, we need smarter systems and processes in order to fulfil our dream potential. As we jostle for our position balancing work, family life, fertility, misogyny and mental health - we find ourselves drained. We have been told that working hard, running ourselves into the ground, working late, over caffeinated, sleeping four hours a night, being the first in and last out, sacrificing our personal lives, and eating on the go, are conducive to succeeding long term. But instead women are burnt-out. The SMARTER method encourages women to prioritise themselves in order to work smarter and stop draining their energy into bottomless sources. It will help to reframe the idea of over productivity equalling success, and will ultimately show that those who work smarter, are those who achieve more long term success. Featuring 10 achievable steps, and the experience of entrepreneur, EM Austen, SMARTER will show you how to prioritise yourself and prevent burnout. Inside you''ll discover how to embrace your talents, harness your productivity, create a consistent work-life balance and empower you to reach your goals. With this essential guide you''ll find it''s not about unlearning what you''ve been taught, it''s modifying what you already know, so that you can unlock your power and lead a life that''s SMARTER.
