Elijah Menchaca is a Puerto-Rican author born and raised in Bakersfield, California, and has been writing and telling stories since he was five. He's moved all around the country to chase some dreams and learn how to put his own pants on. So far, he's discovered a love for Dungeons & Dragons, graduated from the University of Louisville with a BA in History and a minor in creative writing, begun a career in teaching, and has now concluded his debut fantasy series, Glintchasers, which began in 2021 with the release of They Met in a Tavern. As far as dream chasing goes, things are well in hand. He's still working on the pants thing.

Every beginning is something else's end.

Fifteen years ago, the Starbreakers made a name for themselves when they took down the Cult of Stars. They were the greatest glintchasers in the kingdom, until they fell from grace. Years later, they're back and better than ever, but the past isn't done with them yet. The Cult of Stars has returned with an army of an army of the disillusioned, dishonored, and insane, the support of some of the most powerful people in Corsar, and a plan to finish what they started. To stop them once and for all, the Starbreakers will have to call in every favor they have, and return to the place where it all went wrong: Relgen, the city they failed to save.
