The purpose of this monograph is to establish the true date of Christ' s Crucifixion from the Old and New Testaments, based on Daniel's Seventy-Week Prophecy ( Daniel 9:24-27), and in the light of the historical and the existing archaeological evidence. Numerous authors have written books and articles on this subject, but the present study is self-contained inasmuch as it neither imitates nor complements such studies, but rather goes beyond them to provide a sui generis and exhaustive analysis. The book is primarily aimed at those working in the fields of theology, biblical chronology, history, archaeology, ancient astronomy, and patristics, be they scholars, pastors, teachers, or students, and secondly at Christians in general who, though they might not possess specialist knowledge, wish to receive the word of God in the spirit of humility and godliness practised in apostolic Christianity.
Readers of my book will find, according to biblical and historical documents, that: - The historical Jesus of the New Testament was the Messiah / Christ, who was promised in the Old Testament. -That He came from the sphere of Holy Trinity, accepting willingly, after He was incarned and walked among us as Son of God and Son of Man, a marthyr's death for the salvation of all mankind. - The tragedy on Golgotha took place on Friday, 27 April, 31 A.D., according to Daniel's Oracle / Daniel 9:25-26.

The purpose of the book is to establish the true date of Jesus Crucifixion in the Old and New Testaments, based on Daniel s 70-Week Prophecy / Daniel 9:24-27 (more specifically, in accordance with Daniel s 69-Weeks Oracle / Daniel 9:25-26), and in the light of the historical and archaeological evidence of today. The Messiah s passions and glorification were first foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament and then told by the evangelists of the New Testament, who proclaimed (under divine inspiration) that the Messiah is Jesus Christ. The same wonderful conclusion may be reached through chronological analyses as well, as God s messianic plan was revealed to Daniel (together with a well-established calendar) through historical and mathematical information and its fulfillment took place under the eyes and quills of the apostles. Although the subject of this chronological forecast is of great interest to Christianity, all previous theological studies have failed to solve the famous equation correctly, because the esoteric language of prophecy and its computational algorithm were inaccessible to the uninitiated. In this context, I thank the Lord for giving me wisdom, that after 25 years of thorough research and fervent prayers, I should finally unravel the issue in question. Although the solution proposed in this monograph, which takes into account the latest theological, historical, archaeological, and astronomical evidence, is the work of a humable Greek Orthodox believer, I consider it to belong to all Christendom and therefore I address all brothers to unite our hearts, and thoughts in the firm belief that the exact date of Jesus Christ s Crucifixion at Golgotha is 27 April (Friday) 31 A.D.
