Prof. Ramesh S. Chaughule has completed his PhD at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India, a pioneer institute in India, and continued his research until his retirement. Also, he graduated in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and also an executive committee member of this academy. Presently he is an Adjunct Professor at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Mumbai, India and guides students in their PhD programs. Dr. Chaughule has pioneered the field of NMR, MRI, and Nanotechnology. His early publications include in vitro studies on malignant samples using his own developed pulsed NMR spectrometer in collaboration with Cancer Research Institute and Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. He was deputed to Indonesia by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) several times as an IAEA expert in the field of NMR. He is an awardee of many international Fellowships to carry out research programs in different countries. He has served as a guest scientist in several universities in the USA, UK, Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia etc. Besides a number of research publications and book chapters to his credit, Dr. Chaughule has edited several books on MRI and Nanotechnology published by American Scientific Publishers, USA and Springer Nature Switzerland. He has organized several international conferences in India and serves on several educational committees including the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Anushree Lokur has completed her Graduation and Post-Graduation from Abasaheb Garware College of Arts and Science Pune in subject of Microbiology and was a Gold Medalist in both the years. She has completed her M.Phil. & Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of Mumbai. She has also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Management and is a Government of India recognized Patent Agent, Madam is also a Certified trainer by Life Science Skill and Development Council. She has total 36 Years' experience of teaching and she is a recognized Research Guide for Ph.D. in Microbiology and Biotechnology by University of Mumbai. She has been on various administrative positions in the college and is also on the Governing Bodies, Academic Councils and Board of Studies of various education institutions.
She has 15 international and 02 national Research papers published in Peer Reviewed Journals. She has been granted 01 patent and filed 01 patent. Her area of research is Microfluidics, Diagnostics for Developing Countries, Biofilms etc.
She has been awarded with Gold Medal, Prize for Best Integrated Human Practices at the i-GEM International Competition and with Chief Minister's Appreciation Award for success in i-GEM competition 2018.Currently she is the Principal of S.P.Mandali's Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Matunga, Mumbai..
