Zhui Ning Chang (they/them) is a Malaysian editor, writer, educator, sensitivity reader, and theatre maker based in London, UK. Their work engages with topics such as decolonialisation, migration and diaspora, speculative futures, and building support and solidarity through storytelling. Global Voices Theatre is a theatre company led by Lora Krasteva, Robin Skyer, and Zhui Ning Chang. Their mission is to amplify theatre and performance work by underrepresented global artists, to decolonise local theatre structures, to advocate for international artistic practices, and to contribute to the professional development of artists across borders. They were a resident company at the Roundhouse and have curated events with partners such as Bush Theatre, Arcola Theatre, Border Crossings, Arab Women Artists Now, and British Library. Previously, their work has been anthologised with Methuen Drama in Global Jewish Plays and Global Queer Plays.William Gregory has been translating plays since 2003. He has translated over 100 plays, many of them new works, for theatres and organisations including Royal Court Theatre, the BBC, the Old Vic and the Edinburgh International Festival, and performed around the world. She was a co-founder of the Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies. She is the director of the Ibero-American theatre and translation collective, Out of the Wings. She is a translator of Spanish and Spanish American theatre and poetry. Her translations have been performed internationally and she has published widely on
questions of Latin American cultural and gender studies and translation. She is the
Director of the Centre for Language Acts and Worldmaking which is dedicated to regenerating and transforming approaches to teaching and research in Modern Languages.
